  • Develop the communication skills to delay with difficult situations
  • Use assertiveness skills to deal with people more effectively
  • Identify the skills necessary to diffuse difficult situations with people
  • Identify what makes people difficult and how that affects their behaviour
  • Understand your own behaviour
  • Learn a range of positive verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to alleviate and avert ‘difficult’ situations
  • Develop a personal strategy to anticipate and deal with conflict situations

 

Course Summary:

This course will teach you how to develop the communication skills that will allow you to delay difficult situations, utilise your assertiveness skills to deal with people more effectively and use skills that diffuse difficult situations. You will also be able to identify what makes people difficult, and how that in turn affects their behaviour. You will also learn how to understand your own behaviour and gain better understanding of verbal and non verbal communication techniques.
